Pop 3D at 3d.pop-dataengine.com is operated by the controller named above. Accounts store a username, a salted password hash, an account identifier and creation date. Models, names, ownership and link settings are stored on the server. The service renders views on server CPUs and sends PNG images to recipients; the source model and renderer are not delivered to their browsers.
Account and model processing provides the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Security, abuse prevention and operational diagnostics serve our legitimate interest in a reliable service (Art. 6(1)(f)). Without the required account information and model file, upload and account management cannot be provided.
Hosting is provided by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany; the Pop 3D server is in Helsinki, Finland (EU). Authorized administration may access stored data to operate the service and resolve support requests. Anyone receiving a private link can request views subject to its password, expiry and revocation settings. A private link is not a guarantee that recipients cannot save screenshots or forward it.
The necessary Secure/HttpOnly session cookie lasts up to seven days; signing out or restarting the service invalidates the server session. Local browser storage remembers viewing preferences and, for legacy uploads, ownership access. Temporary image caches support smooth viewing. These functions do not provide advertising tracking. Necessary storage for the requested service is used under § 25(2)(2) TDDDG.
Models remain stored until the owner deletes them or requests deletion. Link expiry or revocation does not delete the model. Deletion removes the active model file and metadata and prevents new views; previously received images cannot be recalled. Accounts remain until deletion is requested. Restricted operational backup copies, if present, are separate from active storage; contact us about erasure of retained copies.
Manual support stores the submitted username, contact details, message, timestamps, status and operator notes. An authorized operator can read these in a local Support Inbox. Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); you can withdraw consent by contacting us. Unresolved requests remain while needed to resolve the issue. Resolved requests are deleted from the active server log after 90 days (checked hourly). Local operator notes are removed at the next manual inbox refresh after 90 days. There is no automatic e-mail password reset.
There is no automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects and no advertising profiling in Pop 3D. Use the contact above for account deletion or privacy requests.
